The difference is apparent after calendered vinyl has peeled or failed in some other manner. High Performance (cast) Vinyl This is a superior quality, flexible cast vinyl designed for the highest durability of up to 7 years outdoors. This solvent-, fade- and shrink-resistant film will withstand severe weather and handling conditions. The flexibility of this vinyl allows it to conform to flat surfaces, flat surfaces with rivets and curved surfaces. It’s an ideal vinyl to use when the highest performance is needed for vehicle, window, door and building signage and graphics.Intermediate (calendered) Vinyl This is a intermediate quality vinyl that is designed for interior, short term use. It is not very flexible and does not conform to irregular surfaces.
